Police Lt. Eric Gillis told 22News that around 9:20 Friday morning, officers found the woman in the parking lot of the Community Shops on Springfield Street. She told police that she had been hit by a dark-colored SUV, which drove away. Neither she nor anyone else in the parking lot could provide a more detailed description.

Police have searched the area, but have been unable to find the vehicle.
