SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - A driver who allegedly hit a woman with her car on Main Street in Springfield, killing her, was arraigned in Springfield District Court on Thursday on a murder charge.
Anna Franceschi of Springfield pleaded not guilty to charges of murder and assault with a dangerous weapon on Tuesday.
Springfield Police Officer Charles Youmans told 22News that Franceschi is charged for allegedly hitting Yasmin Marin, 32, of Springfield with her car on Main Street Monday afternoon. Marin was taken to Baystate Medical Center, where she later died.
Franceschi is being held without the right to bail, she will be in court again on March 21.
