HOLYOKE, Mass. (WWLP) - The Salvation Army began its annual Kettle Drive Friday in Greater Springfield to help the poor.
Even during this slow economy, shoppers were quick to donate to the Kettle Drive at the Holyoke Mall.
One shopper told 22News he always thinks of those who have less.
John Shulda of Greenfield said, “I'd say we're pretty fortunate. Everyone in this country even If you're not doing as great as other people, we're more fortunate than most people in the world.”
The Kettle Drive will continue throughout Western Massachusetts during the holiday season.
