Armed robbery at Chicopee Hess station

CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) - A man was caught in the act of holding up a Hess service station in Chicopee before dawn Saturday morning.

Chicopee Detective Timothy Foley provided 22News with this surveillance camera picture allegedly showing the man robbing the clerk at the Hess station on Memorial drive.

The clerk told detectives the man implied that he had a weapon when he demanded money.

The suspect is about 5’3”-5’6”.

He ran away after taking the money.
