SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - A craft fair on a smaller scale debuted Friday in downtown Springfield.
An art marketplace complemented the sculpture at One Financial Plaza near City Hall. People who work nearby told 22News the arts and crafts market is welcome addition to the business block.
“Oh, it makes it so much more inviting,” said Stephanie Couture, who works in downtown Springfield. “We can come out on our lunch break and we can sit at the tables. They have the beautiful fountain. It makes it so much nicer to see downtown.”
The crafts and arts marketplace will be held at Main and Court Streets on the first Friday of every month.
