HOLYOKE, Mass. (WWLP) - A fun honor Wednesday night for 22News Storm Team Meteorologist Ashley Baylor.  Ashley was voted "Favorite TV Meteorologist" by readers of the Republican and MassLive.

During the month of November, more than 11,500 people cast votes for 100 categories in five areas of interest for the Reader Raves competition.  The community engagement contest areas of interest included  Business, Entertainment, Pioneer Valley Life, Sports and News.  Categories ranged from friendliest police officer to best car wash.

"Snow Board and ski shop, recreational area, family restaurant, Italian restaurant.  Best veterinarian.  A number of these categories were the more popular among our voters," said Mark French who works for "The Republican" and served as master of ceremonies for the Awards Banquet.

More than two hundred  winners and their friends filled the big banquet room at the Log Cabin in Holyoke Wednesday night.  Each winner received a plaque and a certificate.

This was the second annual Reader Raves awards banquet.
