SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - The Springfield Police Department has provided 22News with this audio recording of the final radio call to fallen Springfield Police Officer Kevin Ambrose .

Ambrose was killed on Monday, June 4 when responding to a call regarding a restraining order at a Lawton Street apartment complex. Police say New York corrections officer Shawn Bryan shot Ambrose and his estranged girlfriend Charlene Mitchell before killing himself.

Mitchell survived, and is in the hospital recovering from her wounds.
