CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) - At the Litwin School in Chicopee, early voters complained that ballots were too wide to fit into machines and were being stacked next to them.
Litwin School Warden, Stan Wosko, said he noticed the problem immediately.
"The first time I saw the ballots, they were longer and seemingly wider than what they normally are," said Wosko.
Chicopee City Clerk Keith Rattell told 22News that they were aware this could be a problem.
"We did receive a call from the state a couple of days ago that there could be an issue with some of the ballots not fitting into machines. The whole city is fine, except for that one precinct up in Ward 6," said Rattell.
The problem was fixed in about an hour.
