Barry was hurt in an accident while on vacation

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - We all know you miss seeing 22News Anchor Barry Kriger every night. But we're happy to say he is up and walking again!

He stopped by 22News Tuesday afternoon for a visit and says he starting to feel a lot better and he's looking forward to getting back to work soon.

Barry was hurt in an accident while on vacation last month. He spent some time in the hospital but went home a couple weeks ago.

He's been resting and opening the hundreds of get-well cards viewers have sent.
