LONGMEADOW, Mass. (WWLP) - A woman held up the Longmeadow branch of Berkshire Bank on Longmeadow Street just before noon Saturday.
Longmeadow Police Sgt. Robert Stocks told 22News, police got a call from a bank employee that their bank had just been held up. The bandit, a woman had handed the teller a note demanding money.
The woman can be seen on bank surveillance photos. She has a long black pony tail who was described by a bank employees as being about 5 feet 2 inches tall. She was wearing a Red Sox cap and a baggy sweat suit.
Sgt. Stocks told 22News, she got away in a grey sedan with a man behind the wheel.
It just so happens that West Springfield police reported that a grey Oldsmobile intrigue had been stolen in their town on Friday.
