FEEDING HILLS, Mass. (WWLP) - Agawam police have identified the 21 year-old man who was injured when his motorcycle hit a utility pole in Feeding Hills on Saturday.

Lieutenant Eric Gillis told 22News that Aleksey Zhuk of Chicopee is still listed in critical condition at Baystate Medical Center.

According to Gillis, Zhuk was traveling west on Route 57 at a “high rate of speed” when he lost control and hit a utility pole. The road was closed from the intersection of North West Street to the Southwick line for hours on Saturday evening while police investigated.

The investigation into the crash continues, Gillis said.
