BLANDFORD, Mass. (WWLP) - It's an annual tradition that is brought to light every year at Blandford Ski area. The Springfield Ski Club held its annual torch light parade on the mountain, Saturday night. This was all part of their yearly Winter Jubilee.
Sixty-eight adult ski club members skied down the mountain with torches in-hand, creating a beautiful sight for all the guests who watched at the base.
This torch light parade is a tradition that was brought to Blandford after Mt. Tom's ski area in Holyoke closed.
In addition to this torch light parade, 40 children took part in a glo-stick parade down the bunny hill.
If you'd like to still hit the slopes this season, the snow is waiting for you at Blandford Ski Area .
