Driver killed in Westfield traffic accident identified

WESTFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - We now know the name of the man who was killed in a traffic accident in Westfield early Saturday morning - 29-year-old Matthew Osienski

By the time help arrived, the victim was dead.

Westfield Police Officer Terry Manos told 22News, he apparently lost control and crashed into a tree.

Osienski was reportedly making a turn on Shaker Road about 2:30 Saturday morning.

Officer Manos confirmed that he was wearing his seat belt.
