Car accident on Boston Rd in Wilbraham

Driver suffering from serious injuries

WILBRAHAM, Mass. (WWLP) - A young driver involved in a Wilbraham traffic accident Saturday morning is in serious condition at Baystate Medical Center.

Wilbraham Police Sgt. Glen Clark told 22News, it was about one o'clock Saturday morning when a Volkswagen allegedly crossed over the white line on Boston Road and collided head on with a Dunkin' Donuts truck near Papa Gino's restaurant.

The truck driver was hurt less seriously.  Sgt Clark said the car that crossed the line may have been speeding.
