Chicopee man hurt in motorcycle crash

CHICOPEE, Mass (WWLP) - A motorcyclist remains in the hospital Saturday night after rear-ending a car in Chicopee.

The 28 year Chicopee man has non-life threatening injuries.  Chicopee police officer Richard Maynard told 22News the motorcyclist will get a speeding ticket for the accident that happened just before 6:00pm on Friday night. 

The bike hit the car stopped to take a turn on Beauchamp Terrace at the intersection with Huntington Avenue.

Captain Lonny Dakin said the Chicopee accident reconstruction unit was called in to investigate.
