CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) - Chicopee police say that a man who allegedly stabbed another man outside a Willimansett bar Wednesday morning, has turned himself in.
Captain Daniel Sullivan told 22News that Miguel Solano, 32, of Chicopee surrendered to police just after 3:00 Wednesday afternoon.
Solano is accused of stabbing a 26 year-old Holyoke man outside the Dugout Café at Grattan and Meadow Streets. The victim drove himself to Holyoke Medical Center, but was then transferred to Baystate Medical Center. Sullivan says the victim’s condition has stabilized.
Solano will be arraigned in Chicopee District Court on charges of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, assault to murder, and creating a disturbance while carrying a dangerous weapon.
