CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) - Chicopee Mayor Michael Bissonnette and Hampden County District Attorney Mark Mastroianni are set to announce a $10,000 reward for information leading to the solution of the unsolved murder of Amanda Plasse .
The Mayor and District Attorney are scheduled to make a formal announcement of the reward at Chicopee City Hall on Friday morning, nearly one year after she was killed.
On August 26, 2011, Plasse, a 20 year-old who worked as a waitress, was found stabbed to death inside her School Street apartment. No arrests have been made, and Chicopee Police Detectives continue their investigation. Her family and friends have held several vigils in her memory and to draw attention to the still-unsolved case.
The new reward will be for anyone who has any information leading to an arrest and conviction in Plasse’s killing.
If you have information that could help Chicopee police, call them at (413) 594-1730, or text “SOLVE” and your message to 274637.
