SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - A baby that was left alone in a stroller outside a North End gas station has been reunited with its mother in Springfield.

An employee at the North End Pride station on West Street called Springfield Police after noticing a baby left alone outside the convenience store for about 15 minutes.

Springfield Police Captain William Collins told 22News that the child's grandmother apparently left the baby there, but police located the mother, and reunited her with her child.

No one was hurt, and no one has been charged with any crimes.

Captain Collins told 22News that reports are being made, and DCF, the Department of Children and Families , will be notified.
