Cooling centers open across western MA

(WWLP) - In order to help residents beat the heat, communities across the region have set-up cooling centers. Many of these cooling centers are at senior centers, but keep in mind, they are not just for senior citizens; but everyone who wants a place to keep cool.

Agawam: Senior Center, 954 Main Street- Open 8:00 A.M-9:00 P.M. Wednesday & Thursday

Chicopee : Senior center, 7 Valley View Ct.- 8:00 A.M-4:00 P.M. Wednesday & Thursday
Main Branch Chicopee Library- 449 Front Street- 9:00 A.M. -9:00 P.M. Wednesday & Thursday
