HOLYOKE, Mass. (WWLP) - A 63-year-old Holyoke woman hit a parked car on Appleton Street and it flipped over on its side directly in front of the Holyoke Police Department late Saturday night.

Lt. Matthew Moriarty told 22News firefighters used the jaws of life to free the woman from inside the car.

She was treated at Baystate Medical Center.

Holyoke Police Sgt. John Lenihan told 22News, it's lucky the van didn't hit anyone near the front of the station.
