Cruisers damaged during suspect pursuit

HOLYOKE, Mass. (WWLP) - Four Holyoke Police cruisers were damaged while police were chasing a suspect Friday night.

Holyoke Police Lt. Larry Cournoyer told 22News that pursuit started in downtown Holyoke around 9:30 Friday night.

The suspect's car collided with two cruisers while trying to get away from police. Two other cruisers were also damaged during the chase.

Police finally caught up with the suspect at Holyoke Community College where he was arrested.

No one was hurt.
