CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) - Police in Watertown, Connecticut are searching for a missing teenage girl, who may have been kidnapped and taken to Massachusetts.

Watertown Police Sgt. Patrick Girouard told 22News that Nelly Rodriguez,17,  went out for a walk around 2:30 Friday afternoon in Watertown.  She texted her aunt a short time later, asking for help.

She claimed that an unknown white man and woman had taken her into a vehicle.  Several other text messages were received from Nelly's phone from an unknown individual who claimed to have Nelly. The family believes that Nelly may have been taken to Massachusetts.

Nelly is a 17 year old Hispanic female, approximately 5'3", 115 lbs, dark brown hair and brown eyes.  She was wearing black spandex pants, khaki boots, white and leopard print shirt and a black coat with silver lines on it. She also has a red heart tattoo under her left eye.
