SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - 22News is working for you to help keep your neighborhood free of debris.

When a neighbor complained about the unsightly mess behind a condemned house on Dickinson Street in the Forest Park neighborhood of Springfield, 22News found out what had happened, and with the help of the city's code enforcement office, did something about it.

Deputy Director David Cotter said that his department condemned the three-family house at 149 Dickinson Street last year. He has been promised that most of this debris will have been removed by the end of the day and the property will be inspected again next week to make certain the clean up is complete.
