The Democratic National Convention in Charlotte steps into even higher gear Wednesday night as former President Bill Clinton gives the nominating speech for President Barack Obama.
Massachusetts Senate Candidate Elizabeth Warren will also be on the speakers podium. She'll be getting some prime time exposure in the 10 p.m. hour, appearing
before former president Clinton.
And she'll have the support of the 100-plus Massachusetts Delegation. Warren visited with the group at their morning breakfast on Tuesday.
Monday night, First Lady Michelle Obama stirred the crowd. She talked about her husband, his values, and his work on behalf of the country.
Candy Glazer, a delegate to the Democratic Convention and Chair of the Longmeadow Democratic Town Committee, told 22News that the Western Massachusetts delegates were energized and proud of Governor Deval Patrick, who also spoke on Wednesday night. She said he and Michelle Obama inspired them to work
even harder for President Barack Obama's re-election.
