(WWLP) - President Barack Obama in his acceptance speech on Thursday night at the Democratic National Convention returned to the themes of hope and change but, with the perspective as President says Delegate Candy Glazer.
Glazer, who was an early Obama supporter said that the feeling of everyone being involved in his campaign and changing the country, was a feeling that was felt by everyone at the Time Warner Arena in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Glazer, who is Chair of the Longmeadow Democratic Town Committee said that this year's Democratic National Convention was issues oriented and that all of the speakers during the week, did an excellent job of reminding everyone of what the President has accomplished and why he deserves a second term.
The President gave his acceptance speech at the Time Warner Arena, after plans to hold it at the Bank of America Stadium were canceled because of the threat of severe weather.
Singer James Taylor, who is a Bay State resident, performed at the Convention and also paid a visit to the Massachusetts delegation.
