CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) - Peope who want to eat out on Christmas Day usually go to a Chinese restaurant because few other restaurants are open on the holiday.

The Hu Ke Lau restaurant in Chicopee was busy on Tuesday.

The Haberman family of Holyoke gathered at the Hu Ke Lau to celebrate a milestone.

Mort Haberman told 22News “We're here celebrating our 61st wedding anniversary. My wife Bunny and I and two of my grandchildren and my daughter Holly who just left.”

A South Hadley couple said they just visited their in-laws at home. Coming to the Hu Ke Lau was their way of spending quality time together.
