SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - Another transport of Dixie Dogs arrived in Springfield on Saturday.
The animals may have noticed a change in climate from the 72 degrees where they came from in Montgomery County, Texas. But these Dixie Dogs should find Western Massachusetts much more to their liking.
“The difference between the animal shelter in Texas and other areas of the south and here in New England is at one time they are highly over populated with wonderful adaptable dogs,” Candy Lash told 22News.
All the Dixie Dogs have so far been adopted here in the Pioneer Valley; just as these dogs will soon be ready for adoption.
