Donate to the library, win a new car!

HOLYOKE, Mass. (WWLP) - The Holyoke Public Library's capital campaign is getting a big boost for its renovation and expansion project.

At the construction site Friday morning, it was announced that Holyoke auto dealer, Gary Rome , will be providing the winner of the "Drive into the Future" raffle with a three-year lease to a new 2013 Hyundai Elantra.

“I want to give back to the community which has so freely been given to me, and what better way to promote academic achievement and help our residents and neighbors achieve their American dream,” Rome said.

The Holyoke Public Library's renovation and expansion project will update the facility and provide significantly more space.

The drawing for the leased car will be held in December.
