SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - The Dow Jones Industrial Average has been setting new record highs for ten consecutive trading days.
It's the Dow's longest winning streak since 1996. And the good news on Wall Street is trickling down to Main Street.
Those close to retirement and some business owners say they're feeling positive.
Christopher Chaput of Northampton told 22News, "The underlying economy, from what I see on the street and my business, I think there are good signs of positive life. I run a marketing operations firm and we're dependent on companies looking to grow, so when companies are growing and looking to expand, they start calling me. So the fact that my phone is ringing, businesses are growing
There are people who worry the market will correct, and slide lower.
