AGAWAM, Mass. (WWLP) - The first snowfall is here and for many people, it’s not the snow that’s the headache; it’s the way people drive in it.
This is New England and snow is to be expected every year, but some people who had to commute to work in it this morning say they think some of their western Massachusetts neighbors have to re-learn how to drive in it every year.
“People forget how to drive, you know,” Thomas Liquori of Agawam said. “It’s just horrible. They pull out in front of you or they cut you off the road or they’re zigzagging as they’re driving, because they’re using the phone. It’s really horrible.”
Police encourage drivers to take it slower on the roads in weather like this, because there could be ice patches that you don’t see coming.
