SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - Especially when people are looking to devote more cash to Christmas gifts, service stations that charge less than the competition are going to attract a crowd.

Business was brisk when 22News checked out competing Wilbraham Road service stations, both charging $3.37 for a gallon of regular late on Sunday. We're interested in knowing if drivers think the lower gas prices will last.

Kelly French told 22News, “I think it's going to stay a little lower than it has been.”

Oil industry analysts have been predicting right along that drivers would enjoy at least temporary relief from prices that, in some areas, climbed well over $4.00 a gallon a few months ago.
