SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - Dozens of ducks are helping Springfield tornado victims forget the terrible twister of 2011.

Neighbors in this East Forest Park neighborhood bordering Watershops Pond have made these ducks good therapy, after what these people have been through.

Linda Scibelli told 22News, a day with the ducks has a soothing effect on her.

Scibelli said, “Very relaxing on a nice day, I'll just sit out there and they come right up to you and they're not afraid so it puts a little happiness in my day.”

The ducks just seemed to come out of nowhere. Now they've found a place in the hearts of Springfield tornado victims.
