SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - Residents at 1386 Dwight Street in Springfield told 22News that they have had problems with their heat for about a week now.
They told 22News they've called their management group, Morgan Kaylee, multiple times, but problems with thermostats, boilers and heaters persist.
Residents said they were told someone will fix the heaters by Friday, but because of the bitter cold, they wish it was sooner.
“Last year we had the same problem, too. They put some boilers too. But boilers don't work that well. The old ones they were working better than the news ones. I don't know what they are going to do about this situation. I don't know,” resident Elena Vega told 22News.
Mogran Kaylee Property Manager Maggie Rivera told 22News that the boiler system at the apartment complex is in working order. She says that they are monitoring the temperature readings in their units to ensure the residents are comfortable.
