EAST LONGMEADOW, Mass. (WWLP) - The East Longmeadow Rotary Club did its part Saturday to help feed hungry people during the holiday season.
The Rotarians encouraged people in their town to donate to the emergency Open Pantry both in East Longmeadow and Springfield.
Bill Caplin told 22News donating food was the least he could do.
“Thanksgiving's coming up. There are a lot of people that are very needy A lot of issues go on in this part of the country. We had Hurricane Sandy come through here. Rotarians want to help do all we can for people in need,” said Bill Caplin from East Longmeadow.
This was the East Longmeadow Rotary Club's 3rd annual Thanksgiving food drive.
