SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - Springfield Police are still searching for a suspect in an early morning stabbing in the city's Old Hill neighborhood.
Sgt. John Delaney told 22News that the victim was stabbed in the lower back near State and Terrance Streets around 4:42 Monday morning. The man also had his cell phone stolen.
The victim was taken to the hospital, but has since been released. Delaney says that the victim is not being cooperative in the investigation.
Police used a dog to try to track down a suspect, which led them to a house on nearby Stebbins Street. No one was inside the house, however, and the investigation continues.
