EB's sees rush for wings on Super Sunday

AGAWAM, Mass. (WWLP) - They were wingin' it at EB's restaurant in Agawam on Sunday.

The restaurant is known for they're wings.

Owner Ed Borgatti told 22News they started preparing 20,000 wings at 9 o'clock this morning. Borgatti said this year, since the Patriots weren't playing, they didn't have as many pre-orders to fill, but it was still enough to keep the fryolators working overtime.

22News asked the owner why his wings are so popular.

“Being here 27 years, I think that loyalty pays off every year. It just keeps getting busier and busier and we really appreciate that,” Ed Borgatti.

He said the bottom line is that people love wings for the Super Bowl.

Borgatti said the wings at EB's are made fresh, not frozen.
