SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - A Ludlow recycling company now has plenty of discarded electronic equipment to work with.

People came to the Eastfield Mall parking lot from all over to get rid of their old TV's, computers, stereos, printers and fax machines.

Ron Laviolette of Springfield told 22News what motivated him to stop by with his old equipment.

“I think my dad brought me here today. He passed away this week and I had a little dream and woke up and you guys were on TV telling everyone to bring their old computers and TV's and he helped me bring it down today, “ said Ron Laviolette of Springfield.

The people cleaning house paid Gold Circuit E-Cycling a fee for each item the Ludlow recycler took off their hands.
