HOLYOKE, Mass. (WWLP) - Democratic senate candidate Elizabeth Warren campaigned in western Massachusetts Thursday morning. She went on a walking tour of downtown Holyoke.
22News asked Warren to clarify what she meant during the debate by "middle class are people who work hard."
She said it's people who make investments to create a better future. However, she did not specify an income bracket.
22News also asked about the possible military budget cuts.
“There are parts of the military budget that just don't make sense now. We are coming out of two wars. We don't need a large standing army. Other parts of the military budget should be increased. Investments for example and research and development,” said (D) Elizabeth Warren.
Holyoke Mayor Alex Morse, Congressman Richard Neal and Congressman John Olver were also there.
