PALMER, Mass. (WWLP) - Residents of a mobile home in three rivers section of Palmer were forced out after a fire Friday afternoon.

Three Rivers Fire Chief Scott Turner told 22News the fire began below the home on Pineview Road off of Palmer Road.

It was a small fire that spread quickly.

According to Chief Turner, "The materials that tend to burn a lot faster in confined spaces and small areas are a little tougher to work with on the inside."

No word on how many people lived in the home.
