SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - Even though he is busy getting to children in other countries before he stops in the U.S., Santa took time out this morning to stop by the WHYN AM studios in Springfield and take calls from kids in Western Massachusetts.
Santa answered calls all morning from children wondering when he would arrive at their home.
Santa also talked about what he would like to find when he gets there.
And, after making the side trip to Springfield, Santa left for his other stops.
He was last spotted in Thailand, Asia just before 11:30 a.m. Monday morning and left for Laos.
That's the word from NORAD, the joint U.S.-Canada command responsible for protecting the skies over both nations.
NORAD has volunteers manning the phones today to answer any concerns children may have about Santa arriving at their homes before Christmas morning.
It's the 57th year NORAD is tracking Santa.
The phone number to call is 1-877-HI-NORAD to track Santa’s journey.
