SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - Many bars and restaurants in Springfield will be welcoming football fans to come and watch the Super Bowl.

Most people probably already know where they'll watching the game, but another detail to iron out, how will you get home safely?

The Insurance Information Institute says Super Bowl Sunday is one of the most dangerous days to be out on the road.

According to Mothers Against Drunk Driving, in 2011, 43% of all deaths on Super Bowl Sunday involved a drunk driver.

In fact, local police are also urging people to NOT drink and drive tonight.

Martin, Harding and Mazzotti Law Firm is offering free cab rides tonight.

If you've had one too many, dial 1-800-LAW-1010 or **LAW (**529) from your cell phone.

An operator in this area will coordinate a free ride for you from where you are to your home.

Martin, Harding and Mazzotti Law Firm has been offering these free cab rides all throughout the year on major holidays.

The free service begins at 6 p.m. and ends at midnight.
