WILBRAHAM, Mass. (WWLP) - The Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Friendly's has resigned from his position.
Friendly's Spokeswoman Maura Tobias told 22News Harsha Agadi's resignation is effective as of Friday.
He will continue to serve on the Board of Directors.
During the search for a permanent replacement, Jim Parrish, the current COO, will become the interim Chief Executive Officer.
Friendly's filed for bankruptcy in October. Since then, the chain has closed about 100 restaurants.
Friendly's has since emerged from bankruptcy.
