SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - Everyone got out safely following a fire early Saturday morning on Dorset Street in Springfield.

Aide to the Fire Commissioner, Dennis Leger told 22News the fire started in the garage at 215 Dorset Street around 2:30 Saturday morning.

Leger says that a truck was damaged, before the fire spread to the homes next door at 211 Dorset Street and 221 Dorset Street; caused siding damage.

Both homes were evacuated.

No one was injured.
