HOLYOKE, Mass. (WWLP) - Holyoke teenager Allison LaPointe hopes to reach the highest goal a Western Massachusetts Girl Scout can attain.

Allison conducted a recycling program for kids on Saturday at the Holyoke Children's Museum. She told 22News, her goal is to win the Gold Award for high achievement.

“I basically had to find a need in the community and advance that need. I'm teaching little kids how to recycle by recycling games,” said Allison LaPointe.

The Gold Award that Allison LaPointe hopes to achieve is the equivalent of an Eagle Scout for Boy Scouts.
