WEST SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - In West Springfield, Hard Rock International will unveil new information about its casino plans on Monday night.

Hard Rock hopes to build a casino on a section of the Eastern States Exposition. Town Council President Kathy Bourque told 22News that she expects the developers to discuss their traffic plans in more detail. That is something that interests just about everyone in West Springfield.

“I think what they probably want to know most about is the traffic issues, obviously the type of impact it might have on our schools, our streets; the whole infrastructure,” Bourque said.

The presentation is at 7:00 P.M. at West Springfield Town Hall.  The councilors can ask questions, but the public cannot.  Hard Rock has told Bourque that they will host public forums in the future.
