WEST SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - The developers of Hard Rock International laid out a rough draft of how it plans to handle traffic issues.

Representatives from Bronson Companies addressed the West Springfield City Council Monday evening.

Their traffic plan includes creating a second means of ingress and egress aside from Memorial Avenue.

The developer is still considering options for where that would happen.

The plan also calls for improvements to Memorial Avenue including traffic patterns and landscaping.

There is also a tentative idea of a transportation node that would include shuttles to downtown Springfield and access to public transportation.

Finally, the developer wants to look into ways to improve traffic flow in and out of Agawam an upgrade the entrance to West Springfield from the Memorial Bridge.
