HOLYOKE, Mass. (WWLP) - Students at Holyoke Community College are fed up with student debt.
On Thursday, a group of around two dozen students rallied on campus. They held signs and chanted because of budget cuts, tuition hikes, and other policies that are contributing to the student debt crisis.
Some students told 22News that they are already $20,000 in debt and have to juggle multiple jobs.
On 22News at 5:30, 22News reporter Shannon Halligan will explain why some are so worried about their current financial and educational status.
