SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - Every two seconds someone in the United States needs blood. And 22News urges you to sign up as blood donor to give blood to a blood drive Thursday.

The blood drive will be held at the American Red Cross Springfield Donor Center at 3500 Main Street.

You can sign up to give blood Thursday anytime from 11am until six in the evening. For your life saving generosity, you'll receive a coupon for a free pound of Dunkin Donuts coffee.

And that pint of blood you give can help save more than one life
