HOLYOKE, Mass. (WWLP) - Milk and cookies with Santa on Saturday was too good an offer for Holyoke children to turn down.
Holyoke city hall became part of Santa's domain courtesy of the city's parks and recreation department.
While the children thrilled at the prospect of sitting on Santa's lap, their parents praised the city's holiday season gesture.
“I think it's a wonderful experience for the kids and the kids that necessarily wouldn't be able to go to other locations, bringing them closer to home. It's a great event for the kids and the city,” Cemaris Torres told 22News.
The Girl Scouts joined the parks and recreation department in putting on this Santa extravaganza at Holyoke city hall.
