House fire starts by unexpected source

No one was hurt from the fire

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - Two men are homeless after a low voltage exterior lighting transformer overheated and caught fire in Springfield.

There was damage to the exterior of the home at 170 Forest Hills Road.

Springfield Fire Spokesman Dennis Leger said he's never seen something like this start a house fire.

No one was hurt.
